The story of Gilbert's Jerky is deeply intertwined with a rich tapestry of cultural heritage and culinary passion. My dad, Gilbert, is an Asian American whose father embarked on a courageous journey from China to the USA, seeking new opportunities and a brighter future. Settling in Baltimore, Maryland, my grandfather established a Chinese restaurant that became a beloved community hub. It was in this bustling kitchen that my dad, Gilbert, learned the secrets of traditional Chinese cuisine, instilling in him a love for food and family.
